When the Florida Rugby Union (FRU) formed its own Geographic Union in 2013, one of the key components of the sustainability of the Union was the creation of a board appointed General Manager/Administrator position. The General Manager oversees and assists with matters related to four broad categories
- Senior Men’s and Women’s Rugby
- Collegiate Men’s and Women’s Rugby
- Referee and Coach Development
- Organizational and Financial Management

Our long-standing General Manager is Evan Haigh, who began with us in February of 2014. He has been a great asset to the Union over this time enabling easy transitions between many changes in the board of directors. He has extensive experience both locally and nationally, it is this experience and excellent knowledge that makes him so valuable to the FRU.
